I presented Dashboard Design Tips: Information Buttons & Toggle Switches at the 2024 Tableau Conference (#data24) in two sessions on 29 April 2024 (Mon). More than 740 attendees attended my sessions, i.e.,194% of the total seating capacity! I also presented the same topic with bonus content at the California Community College (CCCTUG) Tableau User Group on 5 Dec 2024 (Thu).
Here are the open learning resources for the presentation, including the video recording on Salesforce+, demo worksheet, slide deck, icon library, and many more. May these resources help you create a more performative dashboard!

Hey Kevin! There doesn’t seem to be a link to the video recording. Is there somewhere else folks can access this? Can’t wait to dive into these materials, thanks so much for sharing!
Hi Becca! The video has not been recorded. I created the blog first as a prep. I will share the link after it’s available on Salesforce+. Stay tuned!
All resources should be up and available now! Let me know what you think. Happy learning!
Thanks so much, Kevin!
Good job
Thanks Lin!
Hi Kevin,
do you have a filter icon? (Funnel)? If so, do you mind sharing it? Thanks!
Hi Mark. The Material Design icon library does have funnel icons. I recommend you to check the icon library via the Figma plugin Iconify (link in the blog above). The plugin is free and you shall download the funnel icon or any other icons for your needs. I hope the information helps!
